Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SwipeTrainer ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("the App").

Information we collect

We collect two categories of information:

1. Anonymous device identifier: When you first open the App, we generate a random anonymous identifier that's stored on your device. This identifier lets us track your training progress without knowing who you are.
2. Account information (optional): If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and (with Apple Sign-In) your full name. This lets you sync your training progress across devices.
3. Training data: We record each chart you swipe on, your answer (bullish/bearish), and whether it was correct. This powers the stats screen and helps us improve the app.

How we use information

• To provide the training experience and track your progress
• To compute your accuracy stats
• To restore your stats if you sign in on a new device
• To improve the app and curate better setups

Information we do NOT collect

• Your real name (unless you sign in with Apple and choose to share)
• Your phone number, address, or other personal contact info
• Your location
• Your contacts, photos, or other device data
• Any financial information
• Any tracking across other apps or websites

Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Limited sharing happens with infrastructure providers needed to run the app:

• Supabase (database + authentication) — stores your anonymous identifier, account info if signed in, and training data
• Apple / Google — handle sign-in if you choose to authenticate with them
• AdMob (Google) — serves ads in the app. AdMob may collect a device advertising ID for ad personalization. You can reset or limit this in your device settings.

Data retention

Anonymous attempts are retained until you reset stats from Settings or delete the app. If you sign in, your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account by contacting us at the email below.

Children's privacy

SwipeTrainer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your rights

You can:

• Reset your training history at any time from Settings → Reset stats
• Sign out at any time from Settings
• Request account and data deletion by emailing us

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
